What is an Upper Endoscopy?

An upper endoscopy is a quick, minimally invasive procedure used to examine your esophagus, stomach, and upper small intestine. By using a flexible tube with a camera, our specialists can diagnose issues such as acid reflux, ulcers, or internal bleeding, offering prompt and accurate solutions for your digestive concerns.

What is a Colonoscopy?

A colonoscopy is a safe and minimally invasive procedure that allows us to examine your colon and rectum. This procedure is essential for detecting conditions like colorectal cancer, polyps, and other gastrointestinal issues.

What to Expect

Upper Endoscopy: The procedure typically takes less than 30 minutes. You’ll be given deep sedation to keep you comfortable. You may choose to go without sedation. Most patients can resume normal activities the same day, though we recommend resting afterward. You are unable to drive or operate heavy machinery for 12 hours after your procedure.

Colonoscopy: This procedure generally lasts 30-60 minutes. You will be sedated to ensure comfort, and afterward, you can go home and rest for the remainder of the day.
